July & August 2025 can be booked now, reservations for June and September 2025 will be available to book at the end of this year. Plan to arrive at least 1 hour prior to your tour to find parking at the Many Glacier hotel, due to construction at Swiftcurrent this area will be congested.***

Our Many Glacier narrated tour begins on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake aboard the Chief Two Guns, cruise across the lake with views of Grinnell Point while spotting wildlife on the shores, dock, disembark and walk 0.2 mile (over a steep hill) to the shores of Lake Josephine. You will then board the Morning Eagle and cruise to the head of Lake Josephine with amazing views of Salamander & Gem Glaciers. Here you can either disembark and go on a self-guided hike to Grinnell Lake or Grinnell Glacier, or remain on the boat to return back across both lakes to the Many Glacier Hotel. If you decide to go hiking, your round trip ticket will ensure transport back to the Many Glacier Hotel on one of our return boats.

All guests must do the 0.2 mile steep hike between the lakes to participate in this tour. All passengers on the 8:30am outbound tour must disembark at the head of Lake Josephine. Click on the Gallery icon above for photos.
